Building innovative solutions and inspiring future experts
I am Luuk Wubben, a Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer at Ease2pay. My role at the company is to guide the development team in the integration of AI. I build AI agents, workflows using AI, and machine learning algorithms. My goal is to future-proof Ease2pay, and provide useful ML features for our customers.
I've completed a double masters degree at Eindhoven University of Technology. I combined the MSc Data Science & AI with the MSc Science Education. My thesis was on the topic of model compression utilizing inherent linearity in models. In this work, I focused on large CNNs and transformers and attempted to utilize linear behavior in parts of these models to compress them.
I also have the required qualifications to teach computer science at a secondary school level. In my role as teacher, I aim to guide and inspire my students to explore all that the field has to offer. During my internships, students expressed a desire to learn about machine learning and AI, but these topics were rarely covered in any depth. My goal is to change that using newly developed educational modules and software. I'll share more about that at a later time!
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, building LEGO sets, and doing small side projects. One of those projects is my homelab, built from old computer parts, which hosts this website and many other things.
The primary function of this website is just to be a portfolio and resume. I will highlight projects I've worked on, and provide links or demos of tools I've developed. I will also host educational material to be used by my senior general secondary education (HAVO) and pre-university education (VWO) students during computer science classes.
My master thesis was on the topic of model compression. Specifically, the question was whether linear behaviour shown in some models could be used for compression. My research indicates that …
